#### 38 Restriction on approving threshold increase applications for small venues—floor space requirements 38 Restriction on approving threshold increase applications for small venues—floor space requirements > The Authority may not approve a threshold increase application— > > > (a) in the case of a venue with an internal floor space of less than 250 square metres—if the approval would result in the gaming machine threshold for the venue being increased to more than 2, or > > > (b) in the case of a venue with an internal floor space of more than 250 square metres but less than 300 square metres—if the approval would result in the gaming machine threshold for the venue being increased to more than 4, or > > > (c) in the case of a venue with an internal floor space of more than 300 square metres but less than 350 square metres—if the approval would result in the gaming machine threshold for the venue being increased to more than 6, or > > > (d) in the case of a venue with an internal floor space of more than 350 square metres but less than 400 square metres—if the approval would result in the gaming machine threshold for the venue being increased to more than 8.
