sec.49 Obligation to notify under repealed s 17 continued
Despite its repeal, repealed section 17 continues to apply to a person in relation to the legal estate of an interest in land if, immediately before the commencement, the person had not complied with a requirement under the section to lodge a notification of ownership in relation to the interest. For the purpose of subsection (1), a reference in repealed section 17(3) to a trustee notification of ownership is taken to be a reference to a notification of ownership. s 49 ins 2019 No. 7 s 171 (sec.49-ssec.1) Despite its repeal, repealed section 17 continues to apply to a person in relation to the legal estate of an interest in land if, immediately before the commencement, the person had not complied with a requirement under the section to lodge a notification of ownership in relation to the interest.
