sec.27 General penalty
A person who contravenes a provision of this Act commits an offence against this Act. Where no penalty is expressly provided, a person who commits an offence against this Act is liable to a maximum penalty of— for a first offence—835 penalty units; or for a second or subsequent offence—1670 penalty units. s 27 amd 2013 No. 23 s 352 sch 1 pt 1 (sec.27-ssec.1) A person who contravenes a provision of this Act commits an offence against this Act. (sec.27-ssec.2) Where no penalty is expressly provided, a person who commits an offence against this Act is liable to a maximum penalty of— for a first offence—835 penalty units; or for a second or subsequent offence—1670 penalty units.
- (a) for a first offence—835 penalty units; or
- (b) for a second or subsequent offence—1670 penalty units.
