16 Requirement to register

(1) A person who: (a) becomes liable to register under the scheme in relation to a foreign principal; and (b) is not already registered under the scheme in relation to the foreign principal; must apply to the Secretary for registration in relation to the foreign principal, no later than 14 days after becoming liable.

Note: It is an offence not to register if a person is liable to register (see section 57).

(2) The application must be: (a) in writing; and (b) in an approved form (if any); and (c) given in an approved manner (if any); and (d) accompanied by any information or documents required by the Secretary.
