20 Restriction on granting subsequent licences
A fishing licence (class shellfish), other than a fishing licence (Pacific oyster), may only be granted to a person if the person lodging the application for that licence –
(a) held a licence of the same class on the preceding 31 August; and
(b) lodges the application for the licence in accordance with section 77 of the Act within 12 months after the expiry of the licence.
