sec.86A Possessing or using trawl nets in regulated period generally
A person must not possess or use a trawl net in the southern inshore trawl region in a regulated period. However, subsection (1) does not apply to a person possessing or using an otter trawl net under a T6, T7 or T8 licence. For subsection (1) , each of the following is a regulated period— from midday on 20 September to midday on 1 November; from midday on 23 December to midday on 3 January. s 86A prev s 86A ins 2020 SL No. 196 s 4 om 2020 SL No. 236 s 177 pres s 86A ins 2021 SL No. 135 s 4 amd 2021 SL No. 162 s 6 (sec.86A-ssec.1) A person must not possess or use a trawl net in the southern inshore trawl region in a regulated period. (sec.86A-ssec.2) However, subsection (1) does not apply to a person possessing or using an otter trawl net under a T6, T7 or T8 licence. (sec.86A-ssec.3) For subsection (1) , each of the following is a regulated period— from midday on 20 September to midday on 1 November; from midday on 23 December to midday on 3 January.
