sec.72 Using particular nets
A person must not do any of the following in the Upstart Bay (greater dugong protection area A)— use a mesh net with a mesh size of more than 45mm; fix more than 1 part of a mesh net if all of the net is in nearshore waters; fix any part of a mesh net if part of the net is in offshore waters; use a set mesh net; use a mesh net that is neither fixed nor hauled. s 72 sub 2023 SL No. 194 s 26 ; 2024 SL No. 52 s 15
- (a) use a mesh net with a mesh size of more than 45mm;
- (b) fix more than 1 part of a mesh net if all of the net is in nearshore waters;
