sec.148 Pyramid traps
A recreational fisher may use a pyramid trap only if— the trap— is a pyramid shape; and has no more than 1 entrance; and has a base of no more than 60cm in length and width; and is no less than 15cm in height; and has a mesh size of no more than 25mm; and the trap’s entrance— is no less than 15cm in any dimension; and is made of rigid material; and is at the narrow end of the trap; and is parallel to the base of the trap; and the trap is used in compliance with section 150 .
- (a) the trap— (i) is a pyramid shape; and (ii) has no more than 1 entrance; and (iii) has a base of no more than 60cm in length and width; and (iv) is no less than 15cm in height; and (v) has a mesh size of no more than 25mm; and
- (i) is a pyramid shape; and
- (ii) has no more than 1 entrance; and
- (iii) has a base of no more than 60cm in length and width; and
- (iv) is no less than 15cm in height; and
- (v) has a mesh size of no more than 25mm; and
- (b) the trap’s entrance— (i) is no less than 15cm in any dimension; and (ii) is made of rigid material; and (iii) is at the narrow end of the trap; and (iv) is parallel to the base of the trap; and
- (i) is no less than 15cm in any dimension; and
- (ii) is made of rigid material; and
- (iii) is at the narrow end of the trap; and
- (iv) is parallel to the base of the trap; and
- (c) the trap is used in compliance with section 150 .
- (i) is a pyramid shape; and
- (ii) has no more than 1 entrance; and
- (iii) has a base of no more than 60cm in length and width; and
- (iv) is no less than 15cm in height; and
- (v) has a mesh size of no more than 25mm; and
- (i) is no less than 15cm in any dimension; and
