Tasmania regulation
These regulations set numeric and administrative parameters under the Fire Service Act: they fix contribution percentages for different insurance classes (reg 4), name a specific international body as a prescribed body (reg 5), allow local councils to retain a 4% collection fee (reg 6) and specify a 20% fire service contribution rebate (reg 7). The rules affect insurers, contributors and local councils and are administered by the Tasmania Fire Service.
