#### 39 Minister’s directions to Federal Safety Commissioner (1) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, give written directions to the Federal Safety Commissioner specifying the manner in which the Federal Safety Commissioner must exercise the powers or perform the functions of the Federal Safety Commissioner under this Act. (2) The Minister must not give a direction under subsection (1) about a particular case. (3) The Federal Safety Commissioner must comply with a direction under subsection (1). (4) Despite anything in section 44 of the Legislation Act 2003, section 42 of that Act (disallowance of legislative instruments) applies to a direction under subsection (1) of this section.
