sec.83A Prescribed verification systems— Act , s 43A
For section 43A (2) (b) of the Act , the following verification systems are prescribed— for a licence under the Weapons Act 1990 —the Weapons Licence Card Status Check maintained by the Queensland Police Service; for an interstate firearms authority issued under a law of New South Wales—the Internet Register of Licences and Permits to Acquire maintained by the NSW Police Force; for an interstate firearms authority issued under a law of Western Australia—the Licensing and Registry Public Portal maintained by the Western Australia Police Force. s 83A ins 2026 SL No. 18 s 3
- (a) for a licence under the Weapons Act 1990 —the Weapons Licence Card Status Check maintained by the Queensland Police Service;
