sec.211 Employees of holder of licence to transport explosives

This section applies to a person who— on the commencement, is an employee of the holder of a licence to transport explosives; and is employed to drive a vehicle, stated in the licence as a vehicle to transport explosives, to transport explosives. From the commencement, the person is taken to be the holder of an explosives driver licence. However, this section does not apply to a person who— is employed to work at a mine; and is transporting the explosives at the mine and in the course of the person’s employment. This section stops having effect on the day that is 1 year after the commencement. s 211 ins 2019 Act No. 7 s 153 (sec.211-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who— on the commencement, is an employee of the holder of a licence to transport explosives; and is employed to drive a vehicle, stated in the licence as a vehicle to transport explosives, to transport explosives. (sec.211-ssec.2) From the commencement, the person is taken to be the holder of an explosives driver licence. (sec.211-ssec.3) However, this section does not apply to a person who— is employed to work at a mine; and is transporting the explosives at the mine and in the course of the person’s employment. (sec.211-ssec.4) This section stops having effect on the day that is 1 year after the commencement.

• (a) on the commencement, is an employee of the holder of a licence to transport explosives; and
• (b) is employed to drive a vehicle, stated in the licence as a vehicle to transport explosives, to transport explosives.
• (a) is employed to work at a mine; and
• (b) is transporting the explosives at the mine and in the course of the person’s employment.
