sec.188 False or misleading information in application for authority or security clearance
A person must not— state anything in an application for the issue of an authority or security clearance the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular; or omit from an application for the issue of an authority or security clearance anything without which the application is, to the person’s knowledge, misleading in a material particular. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. s 188 amd 2020 SL No. 170 s 11
- (a) state anything in an application for the issue of an authority or security clearance the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular; or
- (b) omit from an application for the issue of an authority or security clearance anything without which the application is, to the person’s knowledge, misleading in a material particular.
