sec.168 Fireworks contractor’s obligations about safety and security of fireworks display
The fireworks contractor for a fireworks display must, before the fireworks display is staged, give the display host for the fireworks display a notice that states that— the fireworks contractor must ensure the fireworks display meets the safety and security requirements for the display; and the display host commits an offence if the display host— allows the fireworks display to be staged; and knows, or ought reasonably to know, the fireworks display does not comply with the safety and security requirements for the display. Maximum penalty—50 penalty units. The fireworks contractor must ensure the fireworks display meets the safety and security requirements for the display.
