sec.137 General requirements for transporting explosives
For section 50 (3) (a) of the Act , a person transporting an explosive in a vehicle must comply with— for a class 1 explosive—the Australian explosives code; or for a class 2 to 9 explosive—the Australian dangerous goods code; or for another explosive—any conditions of the person’s licence to transport explosives. However, a person transporting an explosive in a mobile manufacturing unit must comply with the mobile manufacturing code. Also, a person mentioned in subsection (1) is not required to comply with a provision of the Australian dangerous goods code, or the Australian explosives code, if— a determination applying to the person states that the determination applies for this section instead of the provision; and the person complies with the determination. s 137 amd 2019 Act No. 7 ss 137 , 313 s ch 1 pt 3 (sec.137-ssec.1) For section 50 (3) (a) of the Act , a person transporting an explosive in a vehicle must comply with— for a class 1 explosive—the Australian explosives code; or for a class 2 to 9 explosive—the Australian dangerous goods code; or for another explosive—any conditions of the person’s licence to transport explosives.
