sec.83 Evidential immunity for notification
Subsection (2) applies if an individual holding an exhibited animal authority gives the chief executive any of the following (each a notification )— a notification of a serious incident as mentioned in section 81 (1) ; a notice of a serious incident as mentioned in section 81 (3) (a) ; a notice of a significant change as mentioned in section 82 (2) . Evidence of the notification, and other evidence directly or indirectly derived from the notification, is not admissible against the individual in any proceeding to the extent it tends to incriminate the individual, or expose the individual to a penalty, in the proceeding. Subsection (2) does not apply to a proceeding about the false or misleading nature of the notification or anything in the notification or in which the false or misleading nature of the notification or anything in it is relevant evidence.
