sec.270 Fees for undecided application

An application to which section 268(1) or 269(1) applies is not required to be accompanied by the fee mentioned in section 51(1)(b)(ii). Also, if— the applicant held a permit or licence of the type applied for at the time of making the application; and an official assessment (application) is carried out for deciding the application under this Act; the applicant is not required to pay the prescribed fee mentioned in section 105(2). This section applies despite sections 268(2) and 269(2). (sec.270-ssec.1) An application to which section 268(1) or 269(1) applies is not required to be accompanied by the fee mentioned in section 51(1)(b)(ii). (sec.270-ssec.2) Also, if— the applicant held a permit or licence of the type applied for at the time of making the application; and an official assessment (application) is carried out for deciding the application under this Act; the applicant is not required to pay the prescribed fee mentioned in section 105(2).
