19 Compellability of spouses and others in certain criminal proceedings Section 18 does not apply in a proceeding for any of the following offences: (b) an offence against a law of the Territory where the alleged victim is a person under the age of 16 years; (c) an offence that is a DVO contravention offence as defined in section 4 of the Domestic and Family Violence Act 2007; (ca) an offence constituted by, or involving, conduct that is domestic violence as defined in section 5 of the Domestic and Family Violence Act 2007; Evidence (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 11 (d) an offence against section 43BI, or a provision in Part VIII, of the Criminal Code 1983 in relation to an offence mentioned in paragraph (b). Note for section 19 This section differs from section 19 of the Commonwealth Act, NSW Act and Victorian Act.
