28 Recognised court may administer oath in ACT
(1) A recognised court may, for the purpose of obtaining in a proceeding,
by audiovisual link or audio link, the testimony of a person in the
ACT, administer an oath in accordance with the practice and
procedure of the recognised court.
(2) A proceeding in which evidence is given on oath administered under
subsection (1) is a legal proceeding for the Criminal Code, chapter 7
(Administration of justice offences).
Note That chapter includes offences (eg perjury, falsifying evidence, failing to
attend and refusing to be sworn) applying in relation to tribunal
proceedings.
