162 Transitional provision—interpretation of references A reference in any other Act (other than this Act) or in any instrument made under any Act or in any other document of any kind to a provision of the **Evidence Act 1958** that is not repealed by the **Statute Law Amendment (Evidence Consequential Provisions) Act 2009**, is to be taken to be a reference to the provision of the same number in the **Evidence (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1958**, so far as it applies to any period on or after the commencement of the **Statute Law Amendment (Evidence Consequential Provisions) Act 2009**. S. 163 inserted by No. 68/2009 s. 97(Sch. item 54.51).
