#### 3A The Energy Grants (Credits) Scheme (1) The purpose of the Energy Grants (Credits) Scheme is to provide active encouragement for the move to the use of cleaner fuels. (2) In the case of diesel fuel, the Commonwealth intends to restrict entitlements available under the Energy Grants (Credits) Scheme to ultra low sulphur diesel for purchases from 1 January 2006 when a mandatory standard of 50 parts per million of sulphur will come into effect.
