27 Safety duty of importers (1) Subsections (2) and (3) apply to a person who conducts a business or undertaking that imports electrical equipment. (2) The person must ensure that the imported electrical equipment is safe from electrical risk. (3) Without limiting subsection (1), the duty includes ensuring that the imported electrical equipment: (a) is designed to be safe from electrical risk; and
