146 Producing identity card (1) An inspector must carry the inspector's identity card when exercising a power under this Act. (2) Before exercising a power under this Act, an inspector must produce the inspector's identity card on the request of: (a) a person in relation to whom the power is being exercised; or (b) a person who is apparently in charge of a place in relation to which the power is being exercised. (3) If it is not practicable to comply with subsection (2), the inspector must produce the identity card for the person’s inspection at the first reasonable opportunity.
