sec.56 Meaning of actively working towards a qualification
A person is actively working towards a qualification if— the person is enrolled in the course for the qualification; and the person provides the approved provider of a QEC approved service with documentary evidence from the provider of the course that the person— has started the course; and is making satisfactory progress towards completing the course; and is meeting the requirements for maintaining the enrolment; and for a qualification that is an approved diploma level education and care qualification, the person— holds an approved certificate III level education and care qualification; or has completed the units of study in an approved certificate III level education and care qualification determined by the National Authority; or is a registered teacher within the meaning of the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005 , schedule 3 .
- (a) the person is enrolled in the course for the qualification; and
- (b) the person provides the approved provider of a QEC approved service with documentary evidence from the provider of the course that the person— (i) has started the course; and (ii) is making satisfactory progress towards completing the course; and (iii) is meeting the requirements for maintaining the enrolment; and
- (i) has started the course; and
- (ii) is making satisfactory progress towards completing the course; and
- (iii) is meeting the requirements for maintaining the enrolment; and
- (c) for a qualification that is an approved diploma level education and care qualification, the person— (i) holds an approved certificate III level education and care qualification; or (ii) has completed the units of study in an approved certificate III level education and care qualification determined by the National Authority; or (iii) is a registered teacher within the meaning of the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005 , schedule 3 .
- (i) holds an approved certificate III level education and care qualification; or
- (ii) has completed the units of study in an approved certificate III level education and care qualification determined by the National Authority; or
- (iii) is a registered teacher within the meaning of the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005 , schedule 3 .
- (i) has started the course; and
- (ii) is making satisfactory progress towards completing the course; and
- (iii) is meeting the requirements for maintaining the enrolment; and
- (i) holds an approved certificate III level education and care qualification; or
- (ii) has completed the units of study in an approved certificate III level education and care qualification determined by the National Authority; or
