sec.35 Laundry and hygiene facilities— Act , s 244 (2) (d) and (e)
The Queensland approved provider of a QEC approved service must ensure that the QEC service has— laundry facilities or access to laundry facilities; or other arrangements for dealing with soiled clothing, nappies and linen, including hygienic facilities for storage prior to their disposal or laundering. The facilities or arrangements must be adequate and appropriate for the needs of the QEC service. The approved provider of the QEC service must ensure that laundry and hygienic facilities are located and maintained in a way that does not pose a risk to children. (sec.35-ssec.1) The Queensland approved provider of a QEC approved service must ensure that the QEC service has— laundry facilities or access to laundry facilities; or other arrangements for dealing with soiled clothing, nappies and linen, including hygienic facilities for storage prior to their disposal or laundering. (sec.35-ssec.2) The facilities or arrangements must be adequate and appropriate for the needs of the QEC service. (sec.35-ssec.3) The approved provider of the QEC service must ensure that laundry and hygienic facilities are located and maintained in a way that does not pose a risk to children.
