25 Functions of Board The Board has the following functions: (a) to provide advice to the Minister and the CEO on curriculum policy in relation to: (i) establishing and maintaining curriculum frameworks that address the needs of all students in the Territory school education system; and (ii) establishing and maintaining procedures for student assessment, reporting and certification; and (iii) monitoring, evaluating and reporting on student performance; and (iv) improving student outcomes; (b) to provide advice to the Minister and the CEO on government policy affecting the Board's functions; (c) to cooperate and consult with bodies prescribed by regulation that are engaged in education or related matters.
