168A Production of identity card An authorised person (other than a police officer in uniform) exercising a power or performing a function under this Act in relation to a person must, if exercising the power or performing the function in the presence of the person, produce for the person's inspection: (a) if the authorised person is a police officer – the officer's police identification; or (b) otherwise – the authorised person's identity card.
