sec.8 Unlawful interference with controlled vegetation
A person must not interfere with controlled vegetation unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. Subsection (1) does not apply to a person if— the person holds a controlled vegetation permit for the controlled vegetation; or the person is permitted to interfere with the controlled vegetation under section 9 . (sec.8-ssec.1) A person must not interfere with controlled vegetation unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. (sec.8-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a person if— the person holds a controlled vegetation permit for the controlled vegetation; or the person is permitted to interfere with the controlled vegetation under section 9 .
- (a) the person holds a controlled vegetation permit for the controlled vegetation; or
- (b) the person is permitted to interfere with the controlled vegetation under section 9 .
