sec.36 MEDQ’s power to carry out work
This section applies if— a management notice, oral direction or compliance notice requires a person to carry out work; and the person fails to carry out the work within the period stated in the notice or direction. MEDQ may— carry out the work; and recover from the person as a debt— the amount reasonably incurred by MEDQ in carrying out the work; and interest on the amount. (sec.36-ssec.1) This section applies if— a management notice, oral direction or compliance notice requires a person to carry out work; and the person fails to carry out the work within the period stated in the notice or direction. (sec.36-ssec.2) MEDQ may— carry out the work; and recover from the person as a debt— the amount reasonably incurred by MEDQ in carrying out the work; and interest on the amount.
- (a) a management notice, oral direction or compliance notice requires a person to carry out work; and
- (b) the person fails to carry out the work within the period stated in the notice or direction.
