sec.50 Existing PDA development approvals

This section applies if, immediately before the cessation, a PDA development approval was in effect for the former PDA land or former PDA-associated development. On the cessation, the PDA development approval is taken to be a development approval under the Planning Act that took effect at the same time as the PDA development approval. However, subsection (2) does not apply to the extent the PDA development approval involves a water connection aspect. For the effect of the cessation of a priority development area or PDA-associated development on the water connection aspect of a PDA development approval in effect immediately before the cessation, see division 4A . s 50 amd 2016 No. 17 s 98 ; 2016 No. 27 s 178 sub 2019 No. 11 s 39 (sec.50-ssec.1) This section applies if, immediately before the cessation, a PDA development approval was in effect for the former PDA land or former PDA-associated development.
