sec.32ZW Acting executive officer—appointment and removal
The Governor in Council may appoint a person to act as executive officer— during a vacancy in the office; or during any period, or during all periods, when the executive officer is absent from duty or from the State or is, for another reason, unable to perform the duties of the office. The acting executive officer is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . The Governor in Council may, at any time, remove the acting executive officer from office. s 32ZW ins 2024 No. 32 s 18 amd 2025 No. 14 s 40 (sec.32ZW-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may appoint a person to act as executive officer— during a vacancy in the office; or during any period, or during all periods, when the executive officer is absent from duty or from the State or is, for another reason, unable to perform the duties of the office. (sec.32ZW-ssec.2) The acting executive officer is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . (sec.32ZW-ssec.3) The Governor in Council may, at any time, remove the acting executive officer from office.
