sec.32ZD Acting CEO—appointment and removal
The Governor in Council may appoint a person to act as CEO— during a vacancy in the office; or during any period, or during all periods, when the CEO is absent from duty or from the State or is, for another reason, unable to perform the duties of the office. The acting CEO is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . The Governor in Council may, at any time, remove the acting CEO from office. s 32ZD ins 2024 No. 32 s 18 amd 2025 No. 14 s 36 (sec.32ZD-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may appoint a person to act as CEO— during a vacancy in the office; or during any period, or during all periods, when the CEO is absent from duty or from the State or is, for another reason, unable to perform the duties of the office. (sec.32ZD-ssec.2) The acting CEO is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . (sec.32ZD-ssec.3) The Governor in Council may, at any time, remove the acting CEO from office.
