sec.171JE Notices of decisions
MEDQ must give the applicant notice of MEDQ’s decision. If the decision is to extend the period for which the temporary use licence has effect— the notice must state— the day the notice is given; and the licensed premises for the licence; and the period for which the licence is extended; and for a decision mentioned in section 171JD (1) (b) —the reasons for the decision; and MEDQ must give a copy of the notice to the relevant local government for the licensed premises for the licence; and the period for which the licence has effect is taken to be extended for the period stated in the notice from the day the notice is given. If the decision is to refuse the extension sought, the notice must state the reasons for the decision. s 171JE ins 2024 No. 13 s 13 (sec.171JE-ssec.1) MEDQ must give the applicant notice of MEDQ’s decision. (sec.171JE-ssec.2) If the decision is to extend the period for which the temporary use licence has effect— the notice must state— the day the notice is given; and the licensed premises for the licence; and the period for which the licence is extended; and for a decision mentioned in section 171JD (1) (b) —the reasons for the decision; and MEDQ must give a copy of the notice to the relevant local government for the licensed premises for the licence; and the period for which the licence has effect is taken to be extended for the period stated in the notice from the day the notice is given. (sec.171JE-ssec.3) If the decision is to refuse the extension sought, the notice must state the reasons for the decision.
- (a) the notice must state— (i) the day the notice is given; and (ii) the licensed premises for the licence; and (iii) the period for which the licence is extended; and (iv) for a decision mentioned in section 171JD (1) (b) —the reasons for the decision; and
- (i) the day the notice is given; and
- (ii) the licensed premises for the licence; and
- (iii) the period for which the licence is extended; and
- (iv) for a decision mentioned in section 171JD (1) (b) —the reasons for the decision; and
- (b) MEDQ must give a copy of the notice to the relevant local government for the licensed premises for the licence; and
- (c) the period for which the licence has effect is taken to be extended for the period stated in the notice from the day the notice is given.
