243 Offence to fail to comply (1) A Project party must comply with a requirement under section 242 within the time specified in the notice. (2) It is a defence to a prosecution of a Project party for an offence under this section if— (a) the Project party took all reasonable steps to comply with the requirement; or (b) the Project party had a reasonable excuse for failing to comply with the requirement.
