227 Minister may direct certain bodies to act S. 227(1) amended by Nos 95/2005 s. 4(4)(b), 49/2019 s. 186(Sch. 4 item 15.16). (1) The Minister, after consultation with the relevant Minister, may direct the Head, Transport for Victoria or a Council to exercise their powers in relation to roads in a manner that enhances the integration of EastLink into the Victorian road network, as specified in the direction. (2) A direction under this section must be in writing. (3) A body to which a direction is given under this section must comply with that direction. (4) A direction under this section applies despite anything to the contrary in any other Act or law. (5) In this section— ***relevant Minister*** means the relevant road Minister within the meaning of the **Road Management Act 2004**.
