142 Freeway Corporation to be responsible for road management for certain roads on licensed land (1) The Minister may from time to time declare that the Freeway Corporation is to be the responsible road authority for a road or part of a road on licensed land. (2) The Minister must cause a notice of a declaration under subsection (1) to be published in the Government Gazette. (3) On the publication of a notice of a declaration under subsection (1), the Freeway Corporation is deemed to be the responsible road authority under the **Road Management Act 2004** for the road or part of a road specified in the declaration. (4) The **Road Management Act 2004** (except Division 4 of Part 4 and Schedule 7) applies to a road or part of a road specified in a declaration under subsection (1) as if any reference in that Act to EastLink were a reference to the road or part of a road specified in the declaration. (5) The Minister may at any time revoke a declaration under subsection (1). (6) The Minister must cause a notice of a revocation of a declaration under subsection (1) to be published in the Government Gazette. (7) On the publication of the notice of revocation of a declaration under this section, the Freeway Corporation ceases to be the responsible road authority for the road or part of a road specified in the declaration.
