5 Eligible convicted offenders—the Act, s 5A

5 Eligible convicted offenders—the Act, s 5A

For the Act, section 5A(1)(f), the following criteria are prescribed—

(a) the person’s usual place of residence must be, or the person must be able to reside, in one of the local government areas listed in Schedule 2,

(b) the person must be at least 18 years of age,

(c) criminal proceedings for the offence for which the person was convicted must not be criminal proceedings within the Children’s Court’s jurisdiction to hear and determine,

(d) the person must be male.
