sec.5 Main objects of rules
The main objects of these rules are— to allow a DFVP court to decide a proceeding in a way that— is consistent with the main objects of the DFVP Act ; and resolves a proceeding under that Act with a minimum of expense; and facilitates the just and expeditious resolution of the issues relevant to the proceeding; and to provide for the practice and procedure of a DFVP court for a proceeding. These rules are to be applied by DFVP courts with the objective of avoiding undue delay, expense and technicality and facilitating the objects of these rules and the DFVP Act . A party to a proceeding undertakes to the DFVP court and to the other parties to proceed in an expeditious way. (sec.5-ssec.1) The main objects of these rules are— to allow a DFVP court to decide a proceeding in a way that— is consistent with the main objects of the DFVP Act ; and resolves a proceeding under that Act with a minimum of expense; and facilitates the just and expeditious resolution of the issues relevant to the proceeding; and to provide for the practice and procedure of a DFVP court for a proceeding. (sec.5-ssec.2) These rules are to be applied by DFVP courts with the objective of avoiding undue delay, expense and technicality and facilitating the objects of these rules and the DFVP Act .
