#### 44 Grounds for taking disciplinary action 44 Grounds for taking disciplinary action > For the purposes of section 64(h) of the Act, the Secretary may take disciplinary action against a registered practitioner on one or more of the following grounds— > > > (a) the registered practitioner has failed to comply with a direction under Part 7 of the Act, > > > (b) the registered practitioner has intentionally or recklessly misled or obstructed the Secretary or an authorised officer in the exercise of a function under the Act, > > > (c) the registered practitioner has provided a compliance declaration in a partial manner, > > > (d) the registered practitioner is not a fit and proper person to hold a registration. > > **cl 44:** Am 2023 (65), Sch 1\[11\].
