#### 103 Evidence of deemed registration 103 Evidence of deemed registration > > (1) The Secretary is to make appropriate arrangements to ensure that a prescribed applicant who makes an application to which this Division applies is issued with an application number or registration number for the application. > > > (2) During the deemed registration period— > > > > > (a) an application number or registration number is evidence of a practitioner’s registration under this Division, and > > > > > (b) each compliance declaration that is required to be provided by a registered design practitioner, principal design practitioner or building practitioner in accordance with the Act and this Regulation must include the application number or registration number. > > > (3) During the deemed registration period, a reference to a registration certificate in Part 5, Division 4 of the Act is to be read as a reference to an application number or registration number for an application. > > > (4) In this clause— > > > > deemed registration period means the period beginning on the date a prescribed applicant makes an application for registration and ending on the date the Secretary gives written notice to the registered practitioner under clause 101(4).
