Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

These Regulations give the instrument its short title and set one procedural rule: Desert Knowledge Australia's common seal may only be affixed in the presence of either two Board members, or one Board member and the chief executive, and those present must sign and date to attest. This affects the Board, the chief executive and people relying on sealed documents by creating a formal authentication step; the compliance cost is administrative (witnessing and signing) and the power to seal is exercised by those officers.
