24 Variation of subsidy certificate

Secretary may vary certificate (1) If a subsidy certificate contains an error or omission, the Secretary may, by written notice to the person who holds the certificate, vary the certificate by revoking the certificate and substituting another.

Note: Part 5 provides for the administrative review of a decision to vary a subsidy certificate.

Effect of variation (2) If the Secretary varies a subsidy certificate (by revoking it and substituting another), the certificate as substituted: (a) has effect as if it had been the original certificate; and (b) comes into force (or is taken to have come into force) on the day stated in the original certificate.
