Tasmania act
This Act makes Tasmanian summer time one hour ahead of standard time for the period the regulations prescribe, and provides that clocks and time references operate on that basis (s.4). It gives the Governor power to make regulations and fixes administration with the Premier until an administrative order is made (ss.6,8,2).
While Tasmanian summer time applies, statutory deadlines, contracts and other legal instruments are to be interpreted by reference to that time unless they expressly say otherwise (s.5).
