Plain English Summary

This regulation specifies which government officers can receive payments of dairy export charges.

Under the Dairy Produce Export Charges Act, exporters must pay charges on dairy products sent overseas. This amendment creates a new rule listing the exact officials who can collect these payments in each Australian state.

Where to pay:

New South Wales: Collector of Public Moneys, Department of Markets and Transport, Sydney
Victoria: Collector of Public Moneys, Department of Markets and Transport, Melbourne
Queensland: Collector of Public Moneys, Department of Markets and Transport, Brisbane
South Australia: Collector of Customs, Port Adelaide
Western Australia: Collector of Customs, Fremantle
Tasmania: Collector of Customs, Hobart

This is an administrative change to ensure export charges are paid to the correct departmental officers.
