82 Documents, fingerprints, photographs may be kept
(1) The chief police officer may, during a registrable offender’s reporting
period, keep for law enforcement, crime prevention or child
protection purposes any of the following taken under this part from,
or in relation to, the offender:
(a) copies of documents;
(b) fingerprints;
(c) photographs.
(2) At the end of the registrable offender’s reporting period, the chief
police officer must ensure that any item that is being kept under
subsection (1) is destroyed.
