44 Offender not to be punished twice for failing to report travel A registrable offender is not liable to be punished for an offence against section 58A (Offence—fail to report as required), in relation to a reporting obligation under section 42, for travel outside the ACT if, in relation to that travel, the offender has been punished for failing to report the offender’s presence in a foreign jurisdiction as required under a corresponding law.
