37 Offender must report annually
(1) A registrable offender must—
(a) attend, at a relevant time each year, an approved reporting place;
and
(b) report any changes to the offender’s personal details to the chief
police officer at the approved reporting place; and
(c) if the offender has been in government custody since the
offender last reported under this Act—report to the chief police
officer details of when and where the custody happened.
(2) This section does not apply if the offender’s reporting period has
ended before the relevant time for the offender’s report in the year.
relevant time, in relation to a report by a registrable offender in a year,
means before the end of the month in the year when the anniversary
of the day the offender first reported under this Act or a corresponding
law falls.
J first reported his personal details to the chief police officer on 14 October 2015.
J must make a further report of any changes to J’s details on or before 31 October
2016, 31 October 2017 (and so on).
