132X Representation of parties with legal disability (1) This section applies if a party to a proceeding on an application for an order for a person under this chapter— (a) is a person with a legal disability; and (b) does not have a representative, or an appropriate or suitable representative. (2) The Magistrates Court may, on application or its own initiative— (a) adjourn the proceeding so the party can get representation; and (b) give the party the information necessary to allow the party to get representation; and (c) tell the public advocate that the proceeding has been adjourned so the party can get representation.
