130 Offence—person must disclose charges if applying for
child-related employment
(1) A person commits an offence if—
(a) a charge is pending against the person for a registrable offence;
and
(b) the person applies for child-related employment; and
(c) the person does not disclose the charge to the person’s
prospective employer when making the application.
(2) A person commits an offence if—
(a) the person has applied for child-related employment; and
(b) the person is charged with a registrable offence while the
application is still current; and
(c) the person does not disclose the charge to the person’s
prospective employer within 7 days after the day the person is
charged with the registrable offence.
