116E Entry and search warrant—remote application
(1) If the applicant believes that it is impracticable for an application for
an entry and search warrant to be made in person, the application may
be made by telephone, fax, email or any other means of
communication.
(2) As soon as practicable after making a remote application, the
applicant must make a written record of the application.
(3) If practicable, the magistrate must fax or email a copy of the warrant
to the applicant.
